Design Advisory
Our in house design team offers recommendations on facility space planning, layout, renovations and material selection, using years of health club design experience to choose furniture, fixtures and finishes that are most functional, attractive and cost effective.
Equipment Selection
Because of our Midtown division, we are able to recommend and purchase state-of-the-art fitness equipment at volume discount prices. The objective is to maximize the efficiency of the space while recommending the latest, most appropriate equipment to encourage member retention and sales.
Accounting
Proactive Partners’ Central Services employ four CPAs and an accounting team that produce all accounts payable, payroll and financial statements. We utilize club specific software packages that track and analyze key performance indicators compared to our own clubs, as well as benchmarked against industry best practices.
Human Resources
This includes an in-house labor attorney, an Associate Relations Manager, and a National Recruiting Director, as well as a labor law firm on retainer. Human Resource functions include hiring, disciplining, resolving associate issues, benefits administration, beREMARKABLESM service training, and our own Performance Management Process.
Central Purchasing
Purchasing is centralized through a computerized ordering system. Our clients are able to take advantage of our national account status to gain favorable pricing for all operating supplies and fitness equipment.
Insurance
Proactive Partners’ Central Services is able to provide very attractive insurance rates through its full-time Director of Risk Management, who also administers insurance policies and claims.
Information Technology
The IT department serves our clubs’ associates in tracking, monitoring and reporting through a six-day-a-week help desk.
Marketing Services
Proactive Partners’ Central Services includes an in-house graphic artist and copywriter who provide custom promotions, graphics and marketing campaigns for each club. In addition, our extensive marketing library is an invaluable resource to all clubs in generating membership sales and increasing program participation.
Training at TCA University
Ongoing education is provided for all associates in club management skills, business functions, strategic planning, leadership, operations, HR, financial analysis, marketing, fitness and wellness programming, as well as our beREMARKABLESM Customer Service training. Training is provided both in TCA University as well as on-site at the clubs.
National Fitness Director
Under the leadership of our National Fitness Director, all of our fitness professionals are aligned with the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) advanced trainer training, and many are highly recognized master coaches in wellness, fitness and flexibility techniques. In addition, best fitness practices are tracked and transferred to maintain departmental standards.
National Tennis Director
TCA’s tennis programs are led by our National Tennis Director who is supported by a world-class cast of tennis professionals certified by the industry’s most respected tennis associations; the United States Professional Tennis Association, the Professional Tennis Registry and the United States Tennis Association. Tennis professionals meet regularly to hone their teaching skills and learn the latest and most successful tennis teaching techniques to maximize member participation and per court revenues.
